Parks and Zoos

Wolf Park  is a local attraction where visitors are able to observe wolves and other wildlife.

Columbian Park is over 40 acres of recreational space and comes complete with a Water Park and Zoo.

Fort Ouiatenon sits right along the Wabash River and is site of the annual Feast of The Hunters Moon.

Wabash Heritage Trail is a 13 mile hiking trail running from Tippecanoe Battlefield Park in Battle Ground to West Lafayette.

Festivals

Feast of the Hunters Moon, held in early Autumn is a re-creation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans which took place Fort Ouiatenon, a fur-trading outpost in the mid – 1700s. 

Taste of Tippecanoe, held in the heart of downtown in mid-June, is 
a great way to get a taste all of the local restaurants highlighted specialties while visting with friends and family and listening to live music.

Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering is a regional festival that is held at Tippecanoe Battlefield and includes performances of bluegrass music as well as various other genres.

Lay Flats Arts and Musical Festival is an annual outdoor music and arts festival held at the Tippecanoe Outdoor Ampitheatre. 

Farmers Markets (May-Oct)

Lafayette Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from 7:30am-12:30pm in downtown Lafayette.

West Lafayette Farmers Market is held in Cumberland Park every Wednesday and runs from 3:30-7:00PM.

Purdue Farmers Market is held in Memorial Mall in the heart of campus on Thursdays from 11am-3pm
